Mark A. Redmond
Mr. Redmond is a 1989 graduate of Pepperdine University and a 1992 graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Mr. Redmond quickly gained trial experience with a local district attorney's office and subsequently conducted a busy civil litigation practice focusing on personal injury-related cases. Mr. Redmond was trained and certified as a long-term care ombudsman. This training and experience allowed him an insider's view of the best and worst of nursing homes and board and care facilities. With this experience, Mr. Redmond has successfully litigated all types of elder physical and financial abuse cases. We've included some examples below.
- A bedsore / death case worth $1,030,000 Confidential civil settlement concerning an alleged stage IV bedsore resulting in sepsis and death
- A bedsore / infections / malnutrition case worth $785,000: Confidential civil settlement concerning alleged stage III and stage IV bedsores, multiple related infections, dehydration and malnutrition, and death
- A pending financial elder abuse case
Shelly L. Reyes
Shelly Reyes is a 2003 graduate of Humphrey's College in Stockton. She has more than ten years legal experience working on behalf of elders. Ms. Reyes handles the heavy drafting of Living Trusts including Wills, Powers of Attorney for Health and Property, Living Wills, Deeds and Funding documents.
Joel Kane
Joel Kane is a 2005 graduate of the University of California, San Diego and is graduating from University of Pacific's McGeorge School of law in June 2010. As a paralegal and law student, he has handled all the behind the scenes aspects of civil litigation from initial client interviews to trial preparation.
Louis Stanfill
Louis Stanfill is a 2009 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He anticipates pursuing a career in nursing and is very interested in nursing home abuse litigation. Mr. Stanfill is a current and past member of the United States Rugby Team at the World Cup.
Georgine R. Hodgkinson
Georgine R. Hodgkinson holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in communications from California State University, Sacramento. She coordinates mass client communications for class action cases and conducts focus groups and mock trials for individually litigated cases.
